• Picked up Chloe at 3 PM, noticed Chloe isn’t going to school on Fridays, spoke with staff
• Went to pick up Xav at her house
• Stopped by Theo’s 4- 4:45 PM
• Went to the house in concord
• Chloe ate a fruit snack and drank some water
• Chloe got in trouble for telling her 1^st lie to Dad, placed on time out, fell asleep
• Spoke with her brother Machiah via Skype at 7:41 PM for 25 mins 
• Spoke with Ms. Thurston via Skype at 8:08 PM for 2 mins 17 secs
• Dinner was Pizza from local pizzaria Skipolini's, salad, and a caprice sun
• Chloe bathed with sister, completing Hygiene, and watched Despicable Me until 9:30 PM 

Chloe was caught lying today. She came and asked me if she could watch a movie and I told her no. She then directly went back to her sister and told her I said yes. When I confronted her about it she became very uncomfortable, looking down at her hands, fidgeting, and refusing to address the matter at hand. She did something intresting: She spoke about how much she missed her brother, and how she wanted her mommy. I comforted her by hugging her and reassuring her that I was not mad at her but that lying was a bad thing. After she calmed down I placed her on time out. She fell asleep.

• Breakfast was Trix
• Dress, Hygiene, and played with play house.
• Drove to school

This week went too fast. Enjoyed every minute with Chloe. Can't wait til Monday ;-)

• Chloe arose a little after 7AM
• She ate Trix with Xav
• Got dressed, hygiene, and played with her toys until it was time to go
• 8 AM went to assist with roomate’s flat tire
• Per Chloe’s request, called Chanee at 8:46 AM, they spoke for 2 mins
• Chloe arrived at school at roughly 9AM
• Picked Chloe up from school and went to John’s house
• Courtney (Xav’s mom), watched the girls while I was at the DV class from 5:45 to 8:20 PM.
• Chloe ate spaghetti for dinner at Courtney’s
• At 8:34PM, Ms. Thurston texted, “Can you have Chloe skype me plz?”
• Already in route to Concord, chose to wait to respond
• Chloe skyped Chanee at 8:51 and the 2 spoke for 20:21 secs.
• Chloe baked cookies with Recee
• Showered and watched Tangled until 10PM

Tuesday, July 5, 2011

• Due to the late evening, I choose to send Chloe to school an hour later to give her more sleep. I awoke her at 8:30 AM.
• Xavieria prepared her for school. Chloe ate Oatmeal, cinnamon and spice flavor.
• Chloe arrived at school shortly before 10 AM.
• Ms. Thurston texted at 12:36PM, “I’m signing Chloe up for swimming lessons, it’s mon-wed are u gonna be able to take her? She was supposed to start ballet this week too, but I went ahead and cancelled it.” I did not respond
• Picked Chloe up at 3:30 PM. Due to a school field trip, Xavieria and I waited until approximately 4PM for her return.
• Picked her up and went to a friend’s home. Picked up a guest and took the girls swimming.
• Girls swam from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM.
• Chloe has become very comfortable with water. She has become comfortable enough and learned to swim underwater with me for a considerable duration. She taps me when she is ready to emerge.
• Ate dinner at 8:30 PM. Dinner tonight was Shrimp alfredo, house salad, and French bread.
• Showed, hygiene, ready for bed
• Chloe completed 3 pages in her age appropriate learning books, colored and
• Due to guest being over, I was unable to provide a contusive environment for a skype to Ms. Thurston 

We had fun and productive day spending time with family and friends. Unable to contact mommy tonight but will make up for this tomorrow.

Monday, July 4, 2011

• Drop off was changed per Ms. Thurston to her mother’s home via text sent at 12:45 PM. It read, “ U can pick Chloe up at my moms”
• Contacted Ms. Smith (Chanee’s mother) to inquire as to the time and method of pick up. Ms. Smith answered and informed me that she was out of the state and that Chanee had informed that the exchange would take place at her home. She asked me to water the plants and grass while I waited.
• Received another text from Ms. Thurston that read, “ Were gonna be late, she is eating.” At 2:52 PM.  Drove to location and waited from 3PM until Ms. Thurston’s arrival at 3:31PM. Received Chloe without conversation or incident. Clothes were not returned.
• Took Chloe to the Vallejo waterfront where my family was Bar B Qing. Departed at 4:30 PM to go to Discovery Kingdom. 
• Arrived at Discovery Kingdom at 4:40 PM. Purchased Chloe a season pass and toured the park riding rides, viewing sites, while awaiting the fireworks show.
• At 8 PM, got in line to view the Discovery Kingdom Fireworks display. We were 1^st in line and got the opportunity to choose our seats within the stadium where the fireworks were displayed.
• Chloe arrived home at 10:30 PM where we shot off our own display of legal fireworks.
• Chloe went to bed at 11PM
• Chloe did not have a substantial dinner tonight, she ate bar b q at the waterfront; she ate parts of cotton candy, fries, vanilla milkshake, and strawberry lemonade.

Today was a memorable day. The girls and I got to spend time as a family on a holiday, something that has not happened in over a year and a half. The girl's thoroughly enjoyed themselves at the theme park and it was a privilege to show them Vallejo's culture, being both of their 1st times watching the fireworks of Discovery Kingdom, from within the stadium.

• Arrived at 9 am for school. Returned clothes from Monday in bag for Ms. Thurston to retrieve.

Short day. Appreciated the week but it ended so fast. Looking forward to Monday

• Awoke Chloe at 7:30 AM
• Chloe’s breakfast was Trix.
• Dressed and headed to school. Left at 8:40AM.
• Took with her swimming gear ( bathing suit, beach towel, floaters), as the school had a planned field trip to local community pool.
•  During the car ride to school, Chloe requested to call her mother, which was granted and placed unsuccessfully at 8:59 AM. Chloe left a message.
• Sent her to into school at 9:08 AM
• Picked Chloe up from school at 3:10 PM.
• Went by Theo’s house and visited until 3:50 PM
• Arrived at Century Theaters to watch the 4PM showing of CAR 2
• Attend my DV class from 6-7:30 PM, during which Charice Hornsby accompanied by Xavieria cared for Chloe. The trio went to Payless to buy more shoes and shop at Target.
• Went home after class let out and arrived in Concord by 8PM.
• Put on swimming gear and swam with Chloe and Xav for 45 mins (weather is significantly hotter in Concord, Ca).
• Girls bathed, hygiene, and prepared for bed.
• Contacted mother via Skype at 9:30 and spoke with her for 7m 9secs
• Ate Spaghetti, salad, and homemade banana bread muffins as dessert.
• Played with Xav and the dollhouse.
• In Bed at 10:15 PM 

Another great day! Having to learn to adjust to this new schedule and realize that we can not make up for lost time. I find that we are trying to do too many things in a day. Will attempt to scale back.

• Picked up Chloe from school at 3PM. I provided Robert Semple with a copy of the order after hearing informing the administration of the new custodial order. Informed by admin that school hours are 9am-3pm. Spoke with her teacher, who explained that instruction is from 9:30 am to 12 PM, with the remainder of the time acting as a Stage 3 day care.
• Chloe received a bag of cheeto’s and a slurpee @ 3:05 PM from the gas station
• Went shopping at Wal-mart where essentials were bought: $200+, socks, underwear, some shirts, hygiene, hair supplies, and Toys
• Went to the Sun Valley Mall: Sketchers $80 2 pair of shoes, Disney Store $160 clothes, bathing suit, toys
• Shopped at Safeway
• Returned home, cooked and put away new items.
• Set Chloe up with a Skype account so that she may contact her mother.
• Placed a Skype video session on behalf of Chloe to her mother at 9:30 that lasted for 19:19 secs.
• Chloe took a bath and was prepared for bed by Xavieria.
• Chloe ate ground beef soft tacos and refried beans at 10:10PM
• Brushed her teeth and washed face with Xav.
• Bed at 10:30PM

This has been a very eventful day for Chloe, one that has kept a smile on her face all day. I'm sure it had a lot to do with reunifying with her father and sister after countless months of just not understanding, but I'm also confident that all the shopping for her didn't hurt things either. 

The purpose of this blog

There are many moments in Chloe's life: some banal, others monumental. There are times when she experiences life, and you can clearly see the affect and/or growth as it takes place. Her first's, her milestones, her serious and comical moments, or moments that you experience and wish that the other parent was there to witness it as well.


It is my hope that this space will allow for these moments to be shared. It is my goal not only to share these moments with you, the reader, but also to provide complete transparency in my parenting of Chloe. I will provide all the things I believe to be pertinent to you the reader. This is to include her schedule, hygienic practices, diet, temperament, milestones, monumental moments, achievements, failures, special moments, and moments where all you can do is say, "that's your kid!" I plan to share them all.


It is also my hope that you will see this space as ours, reciprocate with input, pose questions, leave comments, and begin to heal this relationship enough to effectively co-parent. The editorial ability is available to you also, change the template, colors, etc., make it 'Fabulous' if you will. I have provided a forum suited to your strengths, allowing you to conjure the words that can not yet be orally produced. Take the step.


2 things that will always remain true: Chanee Andrea Thurston and Augustus Terry Jr. are both the parents of Chloe Renee Terry, and Chloe will only benefit from a positive and healthy relationship between the two, even if it's limited to just the parental aspect.
